BodyStream instructions
Complete setup and operating guide for the BodyStream suit, from unboxing to running your first session. Watch the full video or follow the written steps below.
Safety first
- Turn the CO2 tank off whenever the BodyStream is not in use, and always after every session.
- Built-in safety timers: the vacuum runs a maximum of three minutes and the CO2 runs one minute, then both shut off automatically.
- Stand to the side of the tank when opening the valve, never in front of it.
- Check every connection for leaks before you get in.
What's in the box
The BodyStream suit with a carrying case, the black inner suit, the control box with two remote controls, a white hose, two neck straps in two sizes, two stylus pens, the CO2 regulator with two washers, blue tubing, and the power supply (110 V, with a European 220 V version available).
- 1The black inner suit is worn under the main suit so sweat never touches it. It has its own neck and gloves and goes straight into the washing machine. If multiple people use your BodyStream, order extra inner suits and give each person their own.

- 2The BodyStream suit itself, with a carrying case for storage.

- 3The control box runs the vacuum and the CO2, with a wired remote and a wireless wrist remote.

- 4Two neck straps are included: a larger one that fits most necks and a smaller one for very small necks.

- 5Two stylus pens let you use your phone with the gloves on.

Part 1: Set up the machine
- 1Connect the wired remote by plugging its aux cable into the machine. It controls the CO2 and vacuum from outside the suit or through the glove.

- 2The wireless remote goes around your wrist so you cannot drop it. Many people take their arms out of the sleeves during a session and use the wrist remote to add CO2.

- 3Connect the white hose to the front of the machine. The other end connects to the suit once you are in it.

- 4Plug in the power supply.
Part 2: Set up the regulator and tank
- 1Check the white washer. The regulator comes with two washers, and one must be seated inside the fitting before it goes on the tank.

- 2Thread the regulator onto the tank. Once it grabs the thread, pull out slightly while you keep threading.

- 3Tighten with an adjustable wrench while holding the regulator straight up. Snug, but do not overtighten.

- 4Connect the blue tubing: one end pushes into the machine, the other into the regulator. To release either end, press the ring in while pulling the tube out.

- 5Turn the tank on, standing to the side rather than in front of it.

- 6Set the pressure a little under the green zone, about 85 psi. Clockwise increases pressure, counterclockwise decreases it. Listen for leaks and tighten a little if you hear any.

- 7When you turn the tank off, pressure stays in the line. Vent it with the relief valve pull ring, or press the CO2 button on the remote.

Part 3: Get in
Wear shorts and a t-shirt, and put the wireless remote on your wrist before you start. An assistant makes the neck seal much easier, but you can do the whole thing yourself.
- 1Black inner suit first: head first, arms out. Zip it about halfway before you get into the main suit.

- 2Main suit over your head, keeping your arms up and out. It is easier to put the neck strap on while your arms are still out.

- 3Put the neck strap on: around the neck, through the loop, tight enough that CO2 will not escape but never so tight it feels like choking.

- 4Arms into the black suit sleeves first, then into the main suit arms.

- 5Attach the liner at the valve. There is a little Velcro where the valve is, which is where the air comes in.

- 6Zip up the main suit and attach the white hose. Tip: take the black connector piece out and pre-attach it to the hose first, which makes pushing the white tubing on easier.

Part 4: Your session
- 1Turn the CO2 tank on with everything connected, and check for leaks one more time before you start.

- 2Vacuum first. It runs up to three minutes on its own, but usually takes under a minute to pull the air out. Press the vacuum button again when you are ready to stop it.

- 3Add the CO2. It runs for one minute and shuts off automatically. If the suit is not full, press it again and stop it early once the suit is full.

- 4Relax. You can lie down, and the suit creates a deeply relaxing, strongly parasympathetic state. Your body absorbs CO2 during the session, so add a little more with the wrist remote when the suit softens.

Part 5: Get out
- 1First, turn the CO2 tank off. Safety is always the first step.

- 2Disconnect the white tube. Some CO2 vents out as you do, which is normal.

- 3Unzip. If the neck strap is hard to reach, take your arms out of the sleeves first so you can grab it.

- 4Shake all the CO2 out of the suit before you step out, then get out of the black inner suit too.

- 5Fold the suit for next time and let it air out a little. Wash the black inner suit whenever it needs it.

If you have the earlier inflation gun version of the BodyStream, this video covers its operation.
Use CO2 safely
Use only food-grade CO2, keep the room well ventilated, and never place your head inside the suit until the CO2 has aired out. If anything is unclear, reach our team before your session.
